CONNECTING TO THE VPN

This article explains how to connect to the VPN when working from home to access the remote server 9 (Eg Synergetic).

The settings should automatically be setup on your computer, but please request access to the VPN from IT.
Once access it granted go to System Preferences > Network
Select VPN Connection in the left hand side list.
Your account name and password should be your Wyse username and password.
Click "Apply"
If it doesn't automatically connect, click "Connect"
If you want to connect more easily in the future you can add the VPN to your top menu by checking the box next to "Show VPN status in menu bar"
When it is in the top menu click and select "Connect VPN Connection"
