Printing: Changing 1-Sided/2-Sided Printer Settings
As the new default printer settings are black and white, this article explains how to change your printer settings to allow colour printing.
Open a document that you can print from and proceed with the following steps:
1. Click 'File' and 'Print'
2. In the print settings menu you will see the options:
- Click 'File' and 'Print'
- In the print settings menu you will see the following options:
- Printer:
- Presets:
- Copies:
- Pages:
- After this should be:
- Paper Size:
- Orientation:
- If you cannot see these last 2 options, then on the bottom closer to the left hand side there should be a "Show Details" button which should give you more printer setting options.
- Below Orientation there is a dropdown which usually has the name of the application you are in.
- Click this dropdown and go to the option named 'Layout/Finish'
- In the Layout/Finish section there should be a 'Print Type' option.
- Click the dropdown and select '1-Sided', '2-Sided' or 'Booklet'
- Make sure all the other settings are correct and select 'Print'
